Product Overview
This inverter converts 24V DC to 220V AC. It can be used in standalone mode with appliances plugged directly in to it, or it can be hardwired to the electrical distribution board of a home or small office. Two 12 volt rechargeable batteries need to be connected externally to the unit. ‘Deep-cycle’ lead-acid batteries are recommended.
When the mains voltage at the input of the unit is within the range 180 ~ 260 V, the connected load will be supplied with power directly from the mains and the connected batteries will be charged automatically. If mains voltage falls below 180 volts or rises above 260 volts, the unit will switch automatically to inverter mode, and will use the energy stored in the batteries to provide clean sine wave power at a stable voltage.
When mains power is restored to normal, the unit will switch back to battery charging mode and the load will again receive power directly from the mains. No manual intervention is needed.

Please note that using a cable with electrical plugs fitted at both ends to connect the output of the inverter to a wall outlet in the premises, is highly dangerous and definitely not recommended. If it is required to feed the output of the inverter to multiple areas of the premises, it is advisable get a competent electrician to wire it directly to the electrical distribution board.
